Day 9 in Cahuita, Costa Rica
5:30 am-
Our fellow monkey friends gave us a wake up call.
7:30 am-
We enjoyed our coffee and the kids had cereal for breakfast. I had some time to catch on some work. We then started packing up our things.
10:30 am-
We called a taxi and went to Cahuita. We arrived at Tito's Cabinas. We loved our little cabin. Our first night using mosquito nets.
11:15 am-
We went to explore the town and find some lunch. The town was very small and most places don't open until the evenings. We found this small little place and ate some Caribbean food. It was good and the plantains were amazing.
1:00 pm-
We got back to our cabana and headed to the beach. (About a five minute walk.) The kids played with coconuts and played tic tac toe in the sand. They had a blast.
4:30 pm-
We came home and showered. We walked back into town and found a little grocery store. We found a few different little things and walked back home before dark. The kids were tired from playing at the beach but they ate dinner and stayed up for a while. They were all asleep before 9:00pm.
Tomorrow is a long day. We are going to hike Cahuita National Park, which is 9kms. Hopefully the kids can make it.
