Day 3 in Panama
10:15 am-
Today turned out to be a travel day for us. We left Panama City this morning and went to the bus station. The Albrook bus station was like an airport. It was full of buses and people everywhere. We planned on grabbing breakfast after purchasing our bus tickets but we had no time they were rushing us on the bus. Needless to say we had vending machine food for breakfast. The bus was extremely nice, and it had a bathroom on it (which was our worst fear with the kids). The bus ride was smooth and not very many people. The kids enjoyed the first 2 hours and then they became bored.
12:00 pm-
The bus stopped at a bus stop and this lady came on the bus selling churros. Best churros ever, they had a honey dipping sauce . Brandt loved them, Cali would not try them and Chloe was asleep.
3:05-
The bus stop for a 30 minute lunch. It was cafeteria style food, the kids had rice, chicken leg, chow mein, croissant, and apples. They were so hungry that they didn't even complain.
6:30 pm-
We arrived in David, Panama and took a taxi to get a rental car. The bus stop was crowded with people.
7:30 pm-
We drove to Boquete, Panama. It took around 40 minutes. The kids were starving by now.
8:20 pm-
We checked into Hotel Central Boquete, so far it's our favorite. They recommended Apizza and it also was delicious. The pizza was actually cooked in a brick oven.
9:30 pm-
We are now back at the room showering and going to get a good nights rest.
Our plan tomorrow is to go hiking. We haven't decided which trail yet. I hope you enjoy.
