Day 25 in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua
10:00 am-
We all got up and got ready for another beach day. We left the house in search of a laundry shop to drop our clothes off to be washed. After that we went to grab something to eat, Ben stopped at Tacos Strret Style, they had great reviews on TripAdvisor. I loved the chicken burrito but no one else cared for their food. We also found a little surf shop for Ben and Cali to rent boogie boards for the day.
12:00 pm-
We drove to the beach and got all set up in the sand. Brandt was a little cranky and didn't want to get in the water. Ben and Cali went in the water to use their boards. They came right back up, Ben had spotted a stingray right in front of them. The night before he read about all the beaches around here and saw how stingrays are common over here. Eventually they went back out in the water and had fun. Chloe played on the beach drawing pictures in the sand. Brandt still refused to get in the water.
3:30 pm-
We left the beach a little early, I wasn't feeling so great (I think it was the food), the littlekids were whinny, and Cali got stung by something on her toe in the water (we assume a jellyfish). We went and returned the boards. After that we went home and showered and rest for a little while.
6:00 pm-
We left the house to pick up the clothes. The kids were hungry and begging for Taco Stop, so Ben agreed. They all had quesadillas again. They said they are going to miss Taco Stop when we go back home. We went back to the Airbnb and relaxed the rest of the night. The kids fell a sleep early because they didn't get a lot of sleep the previous night.
We aren't sure what we are doing tomorrow. We are just going to "wing it" as Ben says.
