Day 22 in Granada, Nicaragua

8:30 am-

The kids woke us up asking for breakfast and cartoons. They watched cartoons while we cooked waffles. After breakfast we were able to catch up on some work that has been neglected.

12:00 pm-

We went for a swim in our pool, it was freezing. The kids teeth would chatter because they were so cold. We got out after a while and had sandwiches for lunch. Ben and the kids watched National Geographic. Today turned out to be a family bonding day.

5:00 pm-

Everybody was ready to get out of the house, so we went to dinner. Nicaragua has this steak they are famous for and Ben has been wanting to try it. We found the one with the best reviews and went for it. It was a little upscale compared to what we are use to around here. The kids actually did good with using their manners. We got the Jalapeño cream steak and it was amazing. Ben absolutely love it and was happy he finally got to try it. The kids had chicken fingers like always. The kids said their food belly was full but their dessert belly was empty. We walked around the corner to a little ice cream shop and got a little cup. The kids all got normal flavors and I went for a dragonfruit kind, it was different but good.

8:00 pm-

We got back to the house and watched a movie together. Today turned out to be relaxing fun day.

Tomorrow we head to San Juan Del Sur. We are getting close to the border crossing time, so we don't want to be too far from it. Plan on catching a few more beach days before we leave.
