Day 20 in Leon, Nicaragua

9:00 am-

We packed all of our things and headed to a new city. We were all a little sunburnt from the previous day and need time away from the sun. It was about an hour and a half drive there, the Cali was teaching the other two kids their alphabet. When we arrived to Leon we were ready for some lunch, we had skipped breakfast. It was Sunday and we realized that most places are closed on Sundays. We finally found a pizza place that was open, we didn't want pizza but we didn't have much choice.

2:00 pm-

We drove around looking at the Cathedrals, we were going to to the main one but it is closed on Sundays. We passed a McDonald's Dessert so the kids begged for ice cream. They all got a m&m mcflurry. We drove to our  hotel and did our check in. We got all settled in and then went walking around the city. The kids had fun meeting a new dog that followed us for a few blocks. We found a grocery store that was the best we have seen so far. Ben was wishing we had a kitchen so he could cook food. He is ready for some good food, that's what he misses most. We finally found sunscreen, I have been looking for over a week for it.

6:00 pm-

We walked back to our car and was headed to the hotel when we passed this hamburger joint (rated best burger in Leon). We stopped for a quick bite to eat, unfortunately they put a special sauce on all of the burgers. Ben, Cali, and Chloe all hated it. The kids also tried a spicy bean dip, Chloe actually liked it. We headed back to the hotel and settled in for the night.

I think we might head back to Granada or to a beach town. Not much to do in Leon with small kids.
